I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers…
How is it almost October? And believe me when I say that sentence, it isn’t like the familiar phrase we always utter when we want time to slow down. This time, those five words are met with an emphatic: “November and December are NOT close enough!”
OK, I kid…kind of. This year has been intense. And I’m pretty sure that’s putting it mildly for most people. I’m a fairly positive person. I will even boldly say that 100% of the time I can find a silver lining to any situation – so I do have some good things to say about the past 9 months. But, even with that said, I am REALLY looking forward to 2021.
But I digress.
This post is about October. And how dare I take the focus off that.
I can easily say that October is my favorite month of the year. I frigging love fall so much. Literally everything about it brings me so much joy. I oddly find a cool sense of peace this time of year – kind of like the calm before the storm so-to-speak. October is also Bully Prevention month, so we talk about kindness and love and friendship all month long at work. It’s pure magic.
And although it would be nice to just lay in fetal position until January, I really want October to bring it home.
So, I’m going to get out my colorful chalk markers and write all the following dates down on my #customcalendar and just rock the heck out of the next month. Let’s jam together!
